cruise pics

below are some pictures from when my grandma and i went to the bahamas, it was at the end of 7th grade. she very kindly took me on a cruise. it was alot of fun. i saw alot of neat things, and ate a whole bunch of food!

a picture of south miami where all the cruise ships are docked.

a picture of just some of the food served at the midnight buffet held on the ship every night. you will also notice an ice sculpture. there were lots of ice and butter sculptures displayed there.

here is a picture from the top of some tower in nassau, bahamas. its overlooking the many cruise ships that come to nassau weekly.

this is the queen's staircase. its an old staircase built to honor queen elizabeth the II or one of the queens of england. i think its made our of coral, but i'm not positive. i forget what they call these, but they're really cool. this picture was taken at the nassau zoo, the only zoo in the bahamas. i could reach in and grab on of these. its not very well protected. i thought these animals were cool though....

these flamigoes were very cool. they were also at the zoo in nassau. they were trained to run in circles, turn directions, and flap their wings. it was very neat.

here is a picture looking down on an old fort in nassau. i took a tour in it. they had put some animatronics in it... but it was still pretty neat.
